QUESTEC ANNOUNCES FIRST 1998 AGREEMENT WITH THE MADISON SQUARE GARDEN NETWORK FOR NEW YORK YANKEES AND NEW YORK METS BROADCASTS

Deer Park, N.Y. Monday, March 30, 1998 - QuesTec Imaging, Inc. (QuesTec), (NASD-BB: QSTI), and the Madison Square Garden Network (MSG) announce an agreement to incorporate QuesTec’s SuperVisionSM pitch-tracking system as a broadcast enhancement, video replay and analysis tool during MSG’s 1998 television coverage of the New York Yankees and New York Mets. This agreement will bring in revenues between $150,000 - $250,000, depending on the number of away games MSG is able to utilize the SuperVisionSM system. To date, QuesTec has the system cabled in 10 major league stadiums, with plans already in place to increase that number throughout the 1998 season. In 1997, MSG contracted with QuesTec to provide the SuperVisionSM system during Yankees’ broadcasts and sold exclusive sponsorship rights to the Chevy Trucks Division of General Motors.

SuperVisionSM is used during broadcasts to display, and assist commentators in the analysis of key pitches, pitcher/batter match-ups and key at bats. As a video source, SuperVisionSM instantly provides viewers and announcers with a three-dimensional view of individual pitches, including the speed and trajectory of the ball from its release-point to the back of home plate. This instant three-dimensional rendering of real pitches graphically illustrates the difference between a slider, curveball, forkball or fastball -- enhancing the broadcast for commentators and viewers alike. As an enhancement tool, the SuperVisionSM system raises the level of broadcast coverage and increases viewer interest. This increased interest translates into direct attention for SuperVisionSM sponsors.

QuesTec’s Vice President of Sports Marketing and former major-league pitcher, Ron Klimkowski, recently summed up the feelings of all of us at QuesTec, saying "With the inclusion of the Mets in this year’s first major agreement, and coming off the success of last year’s World Series coverage on NBC, I’m impressed with the overwhelming exposure and incredibly positive feedback Supervision has received. I’m looking forward to a great season for Supervision in 1998."

QuesTec develops and markets proprietary software systems that capture, render, and display real-time graphic simulations that can be applied to sports entertainment, display media, business and industry.
