Technology Takes Center Court In Madison Square Garden for the 1999 Chase Championships

Deer Park, N.Y. Thursday, November 18, 1999 - Long Island based QuesTec Imaging, Inc. (QuesTec), (NASD-BB: QSTI), announces the use of TennisProView(TM) by Madison Square Garden Network for their coverage of this years WTA (www.wtatour.com) Chase Championships from Madison Square Garden, New York, November 15 - 21. QuesTec will once again be featured nationally on FOX Sports Net and will be used to produce on-air serve analysis and virtual replays during this year's tournament. TennisProView is a real-time video and computer-based tracking and scoring system that creates virtual replays for television and a behind-the-scenes analysis tool for commentators. TennisProView will be available for all pre-match, match and post-match coverage of live court action. This year's Chase Championships television audience will be treated to a unique perspective of different types of serves, match serve patterns, Aces and close line calls.

This tournament is QuesTec's twelfth televised production in 1999 featuring the company's TennisProView sports analysis
and virtual replay technology. TennisProView is being sponsored by Silicon Graphics (NYSE: SGI) for this year's Chase Championships. This is Silicon Graphic's first sponsorship of QuesTec's technology for tennis. Silicon Graphics has previously sponsored QuesTec for baseball and golf. QuesTec debuted TennisProView at the 1998 ATP World Championship, Hannover, Germany. During the 1999 season, TennisProView has been featured during the Sybase Open, Kroger/St. Jude, Franklin Templeton, Lipton Championship, Family Circle Cup, French Open, Gerry Weber Open, the Mercedes Cup from Stuttgart, Germany, Euro-card Open and the Sparkassen Cup.
