1999 Tennis Season in Europe

Technology Scheduled for EuroCard Open, Sparkassen Cup and return appearance at ATP Tour World Championship

Deer Park, N.Y. Thursday, October 7, 1999 - Long Island-based QuesTec Imaging, Inc. (NASD-BB: QSTI) announces the use of the company's TennisProView(TM) virtual replay system for two upcoming ATP Tour events and one WTA Tour event. QuesTec and Live Motion Company (LMC) of Wiesbaden, Germany will produce TennisProView for German state-owned ZDF ( www.zdf.de ) and ARD ( www.ard.de ) television networks. These events will bring QuesTec's total coverage of professional tennis for the 1999 season to 12 tournaments, which have included 9 ATP, 2 WTA and 1 Grand Slam event.

TennisProView will be featured during ATP's Eurocard-Open ( www.eurocard-open.de ) tournament in Stuttgart, Germany, October 25 - 31, and will be aired by both ZDF and ARD. TennisProView will also be featured during ZDF's and ARD's coverage of the WTA's Sparkassen Cup International Grand Prix tournament in Leipzig, Germany, November 1 - 7. QuesTec will close out the 1999 season with a return to the ATP World Championship in Hannover, Germany for ZDF television November 22 - 28. TennisProView is a real-time video- and computer-based tracking and scoring system that creates virtual replays for television and a behind-the-scenes analysis tool for commentators. TennisProView will be available for all pre-match, match and post-match coverage of center court action. Tennis fans will be treated to a unique perspective of different types of serves, match serve patterns, Aces and close line calls.

These tournaments will be QuesTec's tenth, eleventh and twelve televised productions featuring TennisProView during the 1999 season, of which six were produced in Europe.
